1952

The Altrusa Club of Pampa is organized by Dr. Evelyn Powers and sponsored by the Altrusa Club of Amarillo.
1953

The Altrusa Club of Pampa is chartered with 21 members.
1953-1954

The Pampa Altrusans organized an Adult Education course sponsored by the Ford Foundation.

The Pampa Altrusans orginated the Nokomis Club for older women which later developed into the
Pampa Senior Citizens Center.

1954-1955

Pampa Altrusans created their first Altrusa Scholarship.

The Inez Carter Scholarship is also established.
1955-1956

The Altrusa Girl of the Month is initiated.  The student is chosen by the High School Student Council.

Nineteen NEW members are added to the club roster.

1956-1957

The "Altrusa Views" newsletter is established.

The Club received their first "Outstanding Club" award from District Nine.

1959

The first Career Clinic for Pampa High School is co-sponsored by Altrusa, the Jaycees, and the Chamber of Commerce.
1961

The Club is named "Top in the Top Five" District Nine Award for membership participation and club strength at the Altrusa International Convention.
1965-1966

Members celebrate Altrusa International's Golden Anniversary with a local reception. 
1979-1980

The Club wins Joella Terrell Butler Award for largest membership growth (42%).  Club is incorporated.
1981-1982

Pampa Altrusans begin helping Travis Plumlee with a possible women's shelter.

Club establishes an Altrusa Vocational Scholarship Award which is later renamed the Geraldine Rampy Adult Vocational Award.

1983-1984

Altrusans helped establish Tralee Crisis Center with five Altrusans sitting on the Board.  Support for the Center has continued through the years. 
1984-1986

Pampa Altrusa member Glyndene Shelton serves as District Nine Governor. 
1989-1990

Altrusans decorate and furnish nursery for the Pampa Learning Center.

1991-1992

Pampa Altrusans celebrate Altrusa International's 75th Anniversary with a billboard in the community.

Altrusa members paint and decorate one side of a duplex for the Tralee Crisis Center.

1993-1997

Club begins the Baker Star Reader Project at Baker Elementary School to promote reading in this low-income neighborhood.

Club wins Governor's Literacy Award for the Baker Star Reader Project in 1996 and 1997.

1997-1998

Altrusa members begin the Lamar Literacy Project, a literacy project at Lamar Elementary School.

2000-2001

Club wins Governor's Literacy Award for the Lamar Project.

2001

Club establishes the Altrusa International Foundation of Pampa, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The Geneva Tidwell Memorial Scholarship is established and awarded for 3 years.

2004-2005

Altrusa President Billie Dixon assists members in organizing an ASTRA club at Pampa High School.

2005

The Billie Dixon Memorial ASTRA Scholarship is established.

2007

Pampa Altrusans host District Conference for District Nine (State of Texas).

2007-2009

Pampa Altrusa member Brenda Tucker serves as District Nine Governor.
